IdleMaze

IdleMaze is a tower defense game where the maze is yours to build. Enemies walk in from the edges of the map toward your Core in the middle, and every wall you place makes that walk longer. Put towers beside the path and they'll shoot whatever goes past. The longer the path, the longer everything spends under fire.

It's also an idle game. Leave it in a corner of your screen while you work. It stays on top of your other windows, fades out when you click away, and keeps playing in the background. Progress only happens while the game is open, so there's no offline catch-up to wait for.

What's in it

• 9 tower types, from cheap Pulse guns to chain-lightning Teslas, Railguns that pierce a whole line of enemies, and Amplifiers that boost their neighbours
• 10 levels for every tower, each with its own colour, so you can read your maze at a glance. Level 10 unlocks a special ability, and stars keep the upgrades going after that
• Expand the map, and build on crystal nodes for extra damage
• A boss and a checkpoint every 10 waves. If your Core falls, you drop back to the checkpoint and work your way up again
• Ascend to reset your run for Cores, spend them in the Core Matrix and come back stronger. There are NG+ rewards well past NG+20
• Protocols (challenge runs) and Threat levels for when it starts getting easy
• Automation that unlocks as you play: auto-start waves, auto-upgrade, auto-expand, saved maze blueprints and auto-Ascend

• Windowed, fullscreen, compact and transparent overlay modes
• Always on top, with an adjustable fade when the game isn't focused
• F11 for fullscreen, F9 to switch window modes, F10 to toggle always on top

Neon synthwave visuals with adjustable post-processing. Scanlines, glow and film grain can each be turned down or off.

Windows 64-bit. The game saves automatically.
